Betty S.
Betty is an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse with over 20 years of dedication to caring for mothers and their newborns. Originally from New York, she relocated to Georgia in 2010, where she continued to pursue her passion for women’s health. Betty began her healthcare career as a scrub tech but soon discovered her true calling in nursing. In 2012, she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Augusta Technical College and immediately stepped into the role of a Labor and Delivery nurse—a position she has passionately embraced ever since.
Committed to lifelong learning and advancing her skills, Betty earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2020. She now works as a full-time travel nurse, providing compassionate care to mothers and babies across various states. When she’s home in Georgia, she continues to serve families at Piedmont Augusta in Labor and Delivery.
In her free time, Betty enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her two grown daughters.
"I find fulfillment working as a night nurse, caring for newborns, and offering much-needed support, education, and comfort to new mothers. I am passionate about helping moms prioritize self-care while ensuring their little ones are nurtured and well cared for."
