Colleen P.

Colleen has 20 years experience as a nurse including time spent in L/D, mother/baby, and NICU. In recent years, she held a charge nurse position in these areas, but is now enjoying being back at the NICU bedside because it also allows for her to be home more during her husband's last deployment with the US Navy Reserves. Colleen has 3 children; two boys ages 8 and 2 1/2 and a 6 year old girl. She spends her free time with her family; they enjoy reading, snuggling, playing, and doing puzzles together.

"I love a newborn. There's something about those first few months and all those snuggles. It's been so nice to help parents in a different way outside the hospital setting. By ensuring that they get some rest and feel more refreshed, we can help them enjoy this amazing phase of life even more. And this schedule is great for my family too!"
