Jahloi M.
Jahloi comes from a long line of nurses, with her great-grandmother being the first in her family to pursue the profession. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to be a NICU nurse, especially after her mom had twins and her little sister spent three months in the NICU. Visiting her and seeing how the nurses cared for her left a lasting impression on Jahloi.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Jahloi graduated from Broward College with her ASN and she's currently pursuing her BSN. After a year of working as a nurse, Jahloi moved to Atlanta to work at the Level 4 NICU at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA).
In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her new puppy, spending time with friends, and exploring all that Atlanta has to offer.
"Night nursing is something I’ve come to enjoy because it feels similar to the environment of the NICU—calm, focused, and deeply rewarding. Being a NICU nurse is incredibly fulfilling as I get to be part of a family’s most vulnerable moments, helping the tiniest patients grow stronger while supporting families through their fears and emotions. The bond I form with these babies and seeing them thrive fills me with purpose, knowing that I’ve made a lasting impact on their journey."
